Extra Virgin Olive Oil
The Extra Virgin Olive Oil of our farm is made exclusively with passion and respect for local tradition. The olives cultivated are “Minucciola, Frantoio and Leccino, which are the typical varieties of Sorrento Coast.
They are harvested with the utmost care in October - November , by hand or by rake and carefully cold pressed in the family Mill no later the second day of picking to ensure the final high quality of the Oil. After pressing, the product is stored first in steel silos for a month then in cans or dark glass bottles to protect it from air and light!
The olive oil We produce has a beautiful straw color with a delicate aroma and pleasant notes of aromatic herbs, especially rosemary and tomato. The taste is decidedly fruity with light bitter and spicy notes ideal to flavor typical Italian dishes, grilled fish and vegetables. It’s also an excellent addition to sorbets and "lemon delight,”a traditional Sorrento dessert.
CERTIFIED HIGHEST QUALITY
Owing its acidity that never exceeds 0.80%, this Olive Oil has got a better flavor, aroma and rich in antioxidants. For these reasons it is certified either as Peninsula Sorrentina DOP Extra Virgin Olive Oil (product of most excellence) or only as Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
